Who We Are
Orbit Boundaries is an app from OrbitSwell. The app helps you map relationships, log interactions, and reflect on personal boundaries.
Information You Enter
The app may store relationship names, orbit placement, interaction logs, notes, preferences, evidence records, photos you add, audio you record, and export files you create. This information is stored on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
Local-First Storage
Orbit Boundaries stores app data locally using Apple's on-device storage technologies. OrbitSwell does not run an app-owned backend that receives your relationship records, and we do not have a cloud dashboard where we can read your app data.
Security
Your device security settings help protect app data. Some sensitive attachments, such as evidence photos or voice memos when available in the app, may use additional app-level encryption. No storage or encryption system can be guaranteed to be perfect, so you should only export or share information with people and services you trust.
Apple Services
If you purchase a subscription or restore purchases, Apple processes the transaction. Apple may provide Orbit Boundaries with transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock paid features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Apple Health
Apple Health correlation is not part of the initial public release. If a future version enables Apple Health features, access will be optional and user-initiated. Raw Apple Health samples would be read on device, and derived correlation summaries may be stored locally. This policy should be updated before any Health feature ships publicly.
Exports and Sharing
You may choose to export data from the app. Exported files can leave your device if you share them through AirDrop, email, Files, messaging apps, cloud drives, or other services. Anyone who receives an export file and any required code or password may be able to open it.
Support
If you contact support, we may receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, app version, device model, screenshots, or a description of the problem. Please do not send sensitive relationship details unless you intentionally choose to include them.
Analytics and Tracking
The initial website and app launch do not use third-party advertising trackers. Orbit Boundaries does not sell personal information. If analytics are added later, this policy should be updated to describe them.
Children
Orbit Boundaries is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Deleting Data
You can delete app data through app controls or by deleting the app from your device. Data you have already exported or shared must be deleted wherever you stored or sent it.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will change when the policy is updated.
